  • With fourteen years of experience at Inexmoda, Leonor is the person in charge of leading and directing the strategy around the existing connection platforms in the institute: Colombiatex de las Américas; Colombiamoda, Colombia's Fashion Week®, Textiles2, BCapital, Heimtextil Colombia. Her main challenges involve understanding the connection needs of brands and responding to them by creating scenarios where effective links are established, encompassing commercial, social, emotional, cultural connections, and brand activation, contributing to their strengthening, growth, positioning, and visibility.
  • During her time at Inexmoda, Leonor has created and implemented new and innovative cutting-edge spaces such as BCapital; she has designed and ensured the visibility strategy and support for new designers and emerging brands in settings like El Cubo, Non Stop, and the 5×5, fashion shows that validate and showcase the new and best proposals of Colombian design. Additionally, she commenced 2020 with the consolidation of a new alliance between Inexmoda and Messe Frankfurt, one of the largest organizers of trade fairs globally, granting the Colombian institute the license to host Heimtextil Colombia in April 2021. This opportunity opens doors to impact the Americas, becoming a commercial platform for textile trends and innovations for home decoration.
  • Currently, Leonor has been fundamental in carrying out the transformation of Colombiamoda, The Digital Fashion Week, transitioning it into a new virtual format, adapting to the new dynamics demanded by the world after COVID-19. This is a new venture by Inexmoda aiming to demonstrate its commitment and positivity towards the Fashion System.
  • Leonor, a social communicator from the University of Antioquia in ongoing education, has pursued studies in fashion marketing, corporate entrepreneurship, and strategic communication.
  • Her professional journey has revolved around the world of events, progressively bringing her closer to the Fashion System.
  • Before leading the Connection strategies at Inexmoda, Leonor worked as a Corporate Events professional at the Chamber of Commerce of Medellin for Antioquia and as a consultant for International Fairs and Events at the Agency for Cooperation and Investment of Medellin (ACI), showcasing Leonor's dedication to building strategic international relationships for the development of Medellín and Colombia
