design aesthetic
Spring | summer 2024
Constructs and confinements have kept us in structured and uncomfortable boxes for a long time. This is contrary to what we seek in this new era of authenticity. Beyond typical gender and lifestyle issues, these restrictions have been applied to perceptions that others also have of materials, color, and silhouettes.
In FLUIDO, we seek flexibility to change our personal narrative, prioritizing things like movement, meditative surfaces, and enhanced performance, reframing what it means to be strong or relaxed. FLUIDO is not about being one thing or another; it is allowing ourselves a clear transition to be what we need in every moment and occasion. We also strive to better recontextualize words like "feminine" and what it means to be a woman, expanding who we are and what we need.
Freedom presents us with a refreshing transformation not only in lightness but in weightlessness, changing stylistic roles and being intimately engaged with nature, which continues to heal us the more we involve ourselves in its vitality and nourishment. In this design aesthetic, we seek the joy of the flow of the universe and allow ourselves to be open to the conductivity of a less effortful and more genuine era of design.
COLOR
PALETTE
The color palette is a vibrant and joyful expression of life in the 21st century, an experiment in surprising movement, abundant energy, and rules to break. It's filled with sun-kissed tones inspired by the prism and delicate shades that embody what sunlight and breeze would be if they were colors. There's also a small radiant group of aquatic brights that amplify our daily dynamics, while the neutrals are expertly reshaped from their traditional form to recognize our changing lifestyles.
